The Clinical Translation Workgroup seeks to accelerate the adoption and effective use of HiTOP in real-world clinical and educational settings. We aim to use a community-participatory approach that brings together researchers, clinicians, educators, graduate and medical students, trainees, and other stakeholders to ensure that clinical translation efforts address the needs and experiences of the people who will use and teach HiTOP in practice.
We group our charge into these areas:
1. Advance implementation research on HiTOP to identify effective and feasible strategies for increasing its adoption, implementation, and sustained use in clinical and educational settings.
2. Co-create practical resources for HiTOP implementation and education, including videos, guides, training materials, and other tools that support clinicians, educators, and trainees in learning and applying HiTOP-based assessment and treatment principles.
3. Disseminate HiTOP and its clinical tools through academic and non-academic publications, presentations, workshops, trainings, and other accessible formats to increase awareness, understanding, and use of HiTOP in clinical and educational settings.

We welcome researchers, clinicians, educators, graduate students, medical students, and other trainees who are interested in improving the clinical translation of HiTOP.
You do not need research experience to participate. Clinicians, educators, students, and trainees bring essential perspectives to this work. Members can contribute by identifying real-world barriers and needs, helping shape research questions, developing and reviewing educational and clinical resources, participating in implementation projects, and helping us determine how HiTOP can be most useful in practice and training.
Whether your expertise comes from research, clinical practice, teaching, training, or lived experience with implementation, there are opportunities to contribute.
